Save Our SBS is a not for profit community group defending the independence and integrity of the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS). We advocate that SBS should be fully funded from the public purse as all tax payer funded public broadcasters ought to be.

We seek an end to commercial break interruptions and reliance on advertising on SBS so that our multicultural broadcaster may more closely adhere to the SBS Charter. We value the cultural diversity that SBS offers and favour more programs in languages other than English (LOTE) during prime time and want the SBS to consult more widely with the Australian and ethnic communities in particular.
